Hey, I was in a hotel this Pesach also, for the first time in my life. Twas rather strange, I have to say, but I guess it's all a matter of what you're used to--I was never away from home for Pesach before.
Nice to see you back, bella!
even better?
chucking the stilettos out a high window ;)
LOL... cute....
Was in Florida too :-)
What I want t oknow is... where did you find nice shoes for $60! You gotta let me in on the secret!
My sis found hers in Bakers on sale. Personally I liked the silver ones for $30, but big sister's opinions don't always count for much ;-)
I actaully like stilettos, but after two hours I am ready to take a break.
I can't walk in stillettos. I'm always afraid I'm going to lose my balance and twist my ankle.
ouch. yes i know the yanks are giving me way more trouble than stilettos. everything i was worried about is coming to haunt me. either they win big in a blowout or not at all. either they score most runs by long ball or leave an astronomical amount of runners stranded (16 last night). they can't play like a team and do things like sacrifice runners over or get them in with an out. and contrary to most people i knew moose would be fine. in fact he is their best starter. i'm sure they'll come around, but i'm not a fan of slow starts.
anyways enough for that rant. and that's only the tip of the iceburg. i'm so used to heels that they don't hurt unless i wear them for a few hours. stairs are not too much fun but very manageable. and i wear them because i like them and only for shabbos, yom tov, etc. otherwise it's flats all the way.
I'm not a heels person, but did you notice the start Jeter is off to? He's had one hell of an April.
N- yeah Jeter has been unbelievable with timely game winning homers, clutch hits, and he is always on base (in top 3 in obp I think). if he keeps it up he even has a chance for a batting title. and speaking of "a hell of an April," moose is 4-1 with an era a little over 2
T- for your info the Yanks may not have a stellar record yet, but they have just won 7 of their last 10 while boston lost 7 of their last 10 so they are both tied for first place in the east with a 2 game series in boston tomorrow- it should be quite the party :-)
I hope moshiach is on his way ;-)
Too bad Mussina is the only consistent pitcher we have. If the Yanks gain some consistency, there'll run away with the division.
true. but consistency both offensively and defensively. they can't either win by blowouts or score 2 runs. we'll see how they progress as it is still early. chacon has been looking better, i don't trust wright, i think wang can still be great, and i am anxiously awaiting small's return. pavano won't be back for a while and i wonder if he'll be the same. finally, the biggest negative is that randy seems to be losing it and giving up 5-6 runs a game. not good for an ace. i hope the yanks can lure rocket back to ny.
